What is MiND?
MiND is a new global learning network, a new approach to TV which combines learning, community participation, social responsibility, innovation and fun. MiND is reinventing TV.
Where can I watch MiND?
If you live in the Philadelphia area, you will be able to watch MiND on TV. MiND is available through a stream and on demand at www.mindtv.org.
What will I see on MiND?
You'll see 5-minute programs about lots of people, ideas, and topics. Many of the programs seen on MiND are produced by the community.
Why are all of MiND's programs 5 minutes long?
Our goal is explore lots of ideas on MiND. So, the programs are brief and to the point. The 5-minute format also makes it easier for everyone to make programs for MiND. We encourage you to become a member, and to produce programs for MiND.
How can I produce programs for MiND?

Can I work for MiND?

Can I intern for MiND?
Yes. As a rule, our interns work for MiND as unpaid interns for up to 6 months. We also work with many colleges on formal internship programs.
Can I volunteer for MiND?
Our volunteers provide all sorts of skills and ideas. If you’re interested in volunteering, please send an email and tell us about yourself and how you can help. You can work at our Philadelphia headquarters, or you can work with us online.
Who owns MiND?
MiND is a service of Independence Public Media of Philadelphia, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. To keep things simple, we usually call the organization Independence Media.
Where is MiND based?
MiND is based in the Philadelphia neighborhood of Roxborough. We work in a building that was designed to be a classical FM radio station.
Before I produce my program, I'd like some advice.
Start with our Producer’s Pages. Also, we suggest that you visit MiND Message Board for advice from the MiND community. Also, community members participate in and teach workshops.
How do I submit my program?
To begin the submission process, members should visit MyMind.
How do I find out the status of my submission?
Once you have submitted your video program, you can track your status by logging into your MyMiND account.
Does MiND pay for submissions?
MiND is associated with an independent TV station that relies upon members for much of its funding. As a general rule, we do not buy programs.
May I send my program to other services and web video sites?
Yes. In fact, we encourage you to do so.
Can my program be downloaded?
MiND is a streaming-only service. We do not currently offer downloads.
