Take the NJ TURNPIKE to the PA TURNPIKE)
Exit the PA TURNPIKE at exit 25N PLYMOUTH MEETING
(note: this is the old exit number. exit numbers have recently changed. Follow PLYMOUTH MEETING EXIT.)
Take GERMANTOWN AVENUE EAST.
Follow GERMANTOWN AVENUE about 1.5 miles to JOSHUA ROAD.
Make a right onto JOSHUA ROAD
At first light, make a left onto RIDGE AVENUE
Follow about 2 miles. (about 5-6 lights)
When the road "forks", bear right to stay on RIDGE AVENUE.
Independence Media is about 2 blocks further down on RIDGE AVENUE, on your right.
(Please note: after you bear right at the fork you will pass a U-Haul, a traffic light at PORT ROYAL AVENUE, and a church in quick succession right before Independence Media) |

Independence Media IS accessible via public transportation. The station is located 1 block west of the Ridge and Summit Septa bus stop. Routes 9, 35, and 61 are the lines that run utilize this stop also incorporating interchanges at the Wissahickon Transfer center.
The Number 9 bus travels a loop from 4th and Walnut through center city up the Schuylkill Expressway and on to Roxborough.
The 35 is a line running from Andorra to Manayunk. It takes a more local route through Roxborough and Manayunk.
Route 61 includes Center City, Manayunk, Roxborough and Andorra. Additionally the 61 makes a stop at Flat Rock Road, which is adjacent to the Ivy Ridge Train Station.
Ivy Ridge is part of the Septa R6 regional rail line running from 30th Street Station to Norristown.
